Scope
The International Society of Pulsed Power Applications e.V. invites PhD students working in the field of pulsed power to a small, dedicated workshop. It should give them an opportunity of information exchange and allow them to establish first contacts with like-minded peers within the international community. Direct supervisors supporting their students are welcome to join the meeting. To foster the dialog with industry, ISP- member-companies are also invited.
Participants
In total 28 participants attended the workshop.
With 14 PhD students from various countries.
Chrismas Market in Basel
A group of 17 participants already met on November 31st to visit Basel and enjoy two of its Christmas markets.
Social Event
The social event took place on the 1st December at the wineyard Schneider and the cellar restaurant Spatz in Weil am Rhein. The participants enjoyed a presetation and degustation of local wines. Afterwards, in a cozy atmosphere, a traditional 3-course dinner with chees fondue as the main course, was served.
